Exit Lighting
The interior lamps illuminate when
the key is removed from the ignition
switch if the courtesy lamp switch is
not in the OFF position.
The headlamps illuminate the way
for an adjustable time after leaving
the vehicle.
To operate:
1. Turn the ignition off and
remove the key.
2. Open the driver's door.
3. Close the driver's door.
Note
The exterior lamp control switch
must be in the AUTO position.
The default setting activates the exit
lighting for 30 seconds after the
driver's door is closed.
The activation time can be changed.

Battery Power Protection
To prevent discharge of the battery
when the ignition is off, some
interior lamps are turned off
automatically after some time.
If you turn off the ignition with the
exterior lamps on, they will
immediately turn off. If you turn the
exterior lamps on when the ignition
is off they will remain on.
