Automatic transmission

oil temperature
The automatic transmission oil temperature warning light will illuminate
for three seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ON position,
to check that the light is working.
If the light illuminates while driving, this indicates that the automatic
transmission oil temperature is too high. You should stop the vehicle
as soon as it is safe to do so, leave the engine idling and place the
automatic transmission in P (park). If the light extinguishes, you may
resume driving. If the light does not extinguish, have your automatic
transmission checked by your Holden Dealer as soon as possible.
WARNING
Continued driving with the automatic transmission oil temperature
warning light illuminated may cause costly damage to the automatic
transmission.
Turn signals
When the turn signal lever or hazard warning switch are switched on,
the turn signal indicator light (within the instrument panel) ashes to
indicate operation of the turn signal lights or hazard warning lights.
High beam
This indicator light is displayed when the headlight’s high beams are
in use.
Fog lamp indicator

The > indicator lamp illuminates when the fog lamps are on. Refer
further on in this chapter for information on the operation of the
fog lamps.
Oil pressure
The oil pressure warning light displays when the ignition switch is
turned ON and it remains on until the engine is started, to check that
the light is still working.
If the oil pressure light illuminates while driving, this indicates that the oil
pressure is dangerously low. Stop immediately and check the engine oil
level. Refer to Engine oil in chapter 7. Do not drive the vehicle with the
I symbol showing. If the oil level is normal, have the system checked
at your nearest Holden Dealer as soon as possible.
Low fuel
The low fuel indicator light illuminates when the petrol tank is
approaching empty. Never let the tank become empty.
