ELECTRONIC BRAKE-FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)
The EBD function controls the rear brakes and prevents the rear wheels from locking
up too early by controlling rear brakes in response to the load variation between the
front and back wheels and the braking force when brakes are applied rmly.
When the EBD system is operating, a “Clunk” may be felt or a sound similar to one
produced when ABS is operating may be heard.
WARNING
If the Brake warning light and the ABS warning light illuminate at the same time this
indicates the EBD system may not be operating, the rear brakes may lock up during
emergency braking. If both lights are illuminated, pull over carefully as soon as it is
safe to do so and contact your Holden Dealer.
