ground. If there is a wheel cap tted,

wheel cap until it comes off.
WARNING
The rim along the edges may be sharp.
Do not try to remove it with your bare
hands (aluminium wheel only).

together in a dry spot, to avoid getting
dirt on the threads.
10. Remove the wheel from the vehicle
and change it over with the spare.
11. Replace the wheel nuts and tighten by
hand. Then, with the wheel wrench,
lightly tighten in the sequence shown.
12. Lower the vehicle completely and
remove the jack.
13. Fully tighten the wheel nuts with the
wheel wrench in the sequence shown.
Replace the wheel cap (aluminium
wheel only).
14. Return the jack, jack handle, wheel
wrench and at tyre to the rear of
the vehicle, as shown previously in
this chapter.
To install the jack, place it into position
under the holder and turn the knob in a
clockwise direction until the ram pushes
against the top of the holder, locking it
into place.
15. Have the tyre repaired as soon as
possible.
