FUSE REPLACEMENT

EMERGENCIES

Fuse boxes
There are two fuse boxes; one is located on the right-hand side of the dashboard,
visible when the door is open. The other is located on the passenger’s side of the
engine compartment.
Fuses are also located separately in the engine compartment. When replacing a fuse,
switch the respective switch and the ignition to the
OFF position.
To determine whether or not a fuse is blown, it is necessary to pull out the suspect
fuse and examine the wire within the fuse. A fuse puller is provided in the fuse box. A
blown fuse can be recognised by its melted wire. If a fuse blows twice in a row a fault
is indicated. The cause should be located and xed by a Holden Dealer.
Dashboard fuses
To open the fuse cover in the dashboard,
open the driver’s door, pull the top of the
cover out, then pivot downward.
Always ensure the cover is correctly tted
after use.
The fuse amperage is shown on the inside
of the fuse cover.
Fuse box in engine compartment
This fuse box is located on the passenger
side of the engine compartment. It contains
circuit fuses, main fuses and relays.
To remove the cover, press the catch
on the side of the fuse box toward the
engine and release the two tabs at the
opposite side.
Always ensure the cover is correctly tted
after replacing or inspecting fuses.
The amperage of each fuse is shown on
the inside of the fuse cover.
