BRAKE FLUID
Brake uid level
WARNING
• Brake uid is poisonous and corrosive
and would damage the paint nish of
your vehicle if spilt.
• Use only new uid. Use of old, used
or inferior brake uid may endanger
the functioning of the brake or clutch
system.
The brake uid level should be checked
weekly. The uid level is visible through
the container and should be maintained
between the MIN and MAX level marks.
If the uid is between these levels, do
not remove the cap as brake uid will
quickly absorb moisture if exposed to the
atmosphere.
If uid does need to be added, rst ensure
that the ignition is switched off.
Wipe clean the sides of the cap and
remove the cap. Top up with brake uid.
Refer to Specications in chapter 8 for the
correct brake uid. Remember to replace
the cap and clean any spilt uid.
Note Use only new brake uid. Use of old, used or inferior brake uid may endanger
the functioning of the brake system.
If the brake uid requires constant topping up it could indicate that a fault exists.
Contact your Holden Dealer immediately.
CLUTCH FLUID

Clutch uid level
The clutch uid level should be checked weekly. The uid level is visible through the
container and should be maintained between the MIN and MAX level marks. If the uid
is between these levels do not remove the cap, as the uid will quickly absorb moisture
if exposed to the atmosphere.
If uid does need to be added, rst ensure that the ignition is switched off.
Wipe clean the sides of the cap and remove. Top up with heavy duty brake uid (both
the clutch system and the brake system use brake uid) which meets the Holden
specication number. Refer to Specications in chapter 8. Remember to replace the
cap and clean any spilt uid.
Note Use only new uid. Use of old, used or inferior uid may endanger the functioning
of the clutch system.
If the clutch uid requires constant topping up it could indicate that a fault exists.
Contact your Holden Dealer immediately.
