SPECIFICATIONS
ENGINE NUMBER LOCATION
The engine number is located in two places: On a plate in front of the radiator (refer
to Vehicle identication number (V.I.N.) further on in this chapter) and on the cylinder
block. The following illustrations show the location of the engine number on the
cylinder block.
• Engine serial number petrol HFV6:
The 3.6 litre engine serial number is
stamped on the left-hand rear of the
cylinder block.
• Engine serial number diesel:
The 3.0 litre engine serial number is
stamped at the rear, driver's side of
the cylinder block.
