Holden identication plate

The Holden number on the Holden
identication plate is used for warranty
identication and Roadside Assistance
identication.
Compliance plate
The compliance plate shows the vehicle
approval number, vehicle category code,
manufacturer, make and model, Gross
Vehicle Mass (GVM), seating capacity,
date of manufacture DD/MM/YY or
month and year of manufacture and the
Vehicle Identication Number (V.I.N.).
Body and option
identication plate
The body and option plate shows body
style, body serial number, paint and trim
colour combination, paint number, engine
transmissions, axle ratio options and built
date. The built date is dened as ‘the date
of manufacture’ by the calendar month
and year in which the body shell and
power train sub-assemblies are co-joined
or moved from the production line.
Engine no. V.I.N. plate
The engine no. V.I.N. plate shows
the engine number and the Vehicle
Identication Number (V.I.N.).
