Air selector
Different vents are selected when the air selector is set in the following positions:
Air ows from the four face level outlets.
Cooler air ows from the face outlets and warmer air from the feet outlets, except
when the temperature control is moved to its extreme right or left positions. In
this case the air from the upper and lower vents is at the same temperature.
Air ows from the foot vents with a small amount from the window and
windscreen demist outlets.
Air ows from the foot vents, side window demist and windscreen demist
outlets.
Air ows from the side window demist and windscreen demist outlets.
Air source lever
Air intake source is selected when sliding the air source lever to the following
positions:
Outside air is drawn into the vehicle.
Air within the vehicle is recirculated with the aid of the fan.
Note
• Recirculating the inside air for an extended time is not recommended; switch to
outside air as soon as possible to renew the air.
• Do not use recirculation D if occupants are smoking.
Temperature control
The temperature control regulates the temperature of the air entering the passenger
compartment. Turn the control clockwise for warmer air and anticlockwise for
cooler air.
Fan speed selector
The fan selector provides speed control of the blower fan.
0 Off.
1 Low.
2 Medium light.
3 Medium high.
4 High.
