IMPORTANT INFORMATION
SECURITY CODE
To enter the security code
• An identication card stamped with the security code number is provided with the
vehicle.
• Keep the card in a safe place, not in the vehicle.
• The audio security system activates immediately whenever the battery is
disconnected.
• After battery disconnection, the audio system must be unlocked with the security
code before it can operated.
1. Turn the vehicle’s ignition key to ACC or ON position.
• The display will ash “AM 12:00”.
2. Press the POWER/VOLUME button

to turn on the audio system.
• “CODE” will ash on the display.
3. Enter the security code into the audio system using the number (1 to 6) buttons

.
• When the complete four-digit security code is entered, the complete security
code will ash three times. The audio system will be fully functional and the
radio will begin to operate.
Note If entering the security code failed, “ERR” will be displayed for a few seconds.
“CODE” will then be displayed again. Repeat the previous procedure to enter the
security code again.
