SINGLE CD OPERATION
WARNING
• Only use standard size compact discs (12 cm) in this audio system. Do not use
other sizes.
• Do not use irregularly shaped discs.
• Do not use discs that have a seal or label attached.
• Do not insert foreign objects, ngers or hands into the disc slot.
Note
CD and MP3 discs are able to be played on this audio system.
This audio system cannot play back the following les:
• MP3 les encoded with MP3i and MP3 PRO format.
• MP3 les encoded in an inappropriate format.
• MP3 les encoded with Layer 1/2.
Playable les:
• CD discs: CD-R/CD-RW.
• MP3 discs: CD-R/CD-RW/CD-ROM.
Playing the disc
Insert a disc into the disc slot with the printed side facing up.
• Playback will start automatically.
• It may take some time to start playing.
• All tracks will be played until the source is changed or the disc is ejected.
Note
• Do not insert a disc when the disc indicator
illuminates because a disc is
already loaded.
• When a disc is in the audio system, press the CD/AUX button
to select the
CD for playback to begin.
• The power will be turned on automatically when a disc is loaded.
• A disc which has both CD data and MP3 data on it may not produce sound.
• If an ejected disc is not removed within 15 seconds, the disc is automatically
reloaded again into the disc slot to protect it from dust. The disc will not play this
time around.
