AUX OPERATION
Auxiliary audio equipment
The AUX input socket allows play back of a portable audio device e.g. a portable MP3
player through the audio system speakers.
Connection
1. Turn off the portable audio device.
2. Turn down the volume on the audio system.
3. Connect the portable audio device to the audio system using the AUX input
socket
.
4. Press the CD/AUX button
, until ‘AUX’ appears.
Note The pause function of the CD/AUX button
is disabled when an AUX source
is plugged in.
5. Start playback of the portable audio device at a moderate volume level then adjust
to suit.
6. Set the listening volume on the audio system to the desired level.
Disconnection
1. Turn off the portable audio device.
2. Remove the portable audio device from the AUX input socket
