NOTES ON COMPACT DISCS
• Handle the CD by its edge and avoid
touching the playing surface.
• Do not stick paper labels, tape, etc.,
and do not write on either surface.
• Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight
or a heat source such as a hot air duct
for longer periods.
• Before inserting a CD into the player,
check the playing surface and clean
it with a suitable cleaning cloth. Wipe
the CD from the centre outwards,
rather than in a circular motion. See
opposite diagram.
• Do not use solvents such as petrol,
thinners, etc. Use commercially
available CD cleaners.
