Replacing the key battery
Replace the battery as soon as the range
of the remote control consistently starts to
reduce, as follows:
Note The battery change must be
performed within 3 minutes, otherwise
the remote control will have to be
synchronised. Refer previously in this
chapter.
1. Use a small coin to open the key cover.
2. Remove the transmitter.
3. Use a small coin to open the
transmitter cover.
4. Remove and dispose of the
spent battery in accordance with
environmental protection regulations.
5. Install the new battery ensuring that it
is inserted correctly, + side up. Refer
to Specications in chapter 8.
6. Install the transmitter cover.
7. Place the transmitter in the key.
8. Install the key cover.
CODE NUMBER
The code number for the keys is
stamped on the key plate, which is
attached to the key ring. Record the key
number, remove the key plate and keep
the number and the key plate in a safe
place – not in the vehicle.
In the event of the original keys being
lost, any additional or replacement
keys must be purchased from and
programmed by your Holden Dealer,
using your key code number.
