The rear doors on the crew cab can be
locked to prevent children from opening
them from the inside.
To engage the child lock, open the rear
door and locate the child proof lock on
the doors rear edge. Insert the ignition
key into the slot, as illustrated, and rotate
the top of key toward the vehicle as far as
possible. Close the door. The door cannot
be opened from inside, regardless of the
lock knob position.
To disengage the child lock, open the
rear door and insert the ignition key into
the child proof lock’s slot. Rotate the top
of key away from the vehicle as far as
possible. Close the doors.
WARNING
For safety, you should check if the lock is
operating correctly by attempting to open
the door from the inside after the lock has
been engaged.
