Centre rear seatbelt

1. To prepare the rear centre seatbelt
for use, pull the shoulder portion of
the belt down until the anchor tongue
reaches the anchor buckle.
2. Press the anchor tongue into the
anchor buckle until a distinct clicking
sound is heard.
3. Pull the 2nd tongue across your body,
press the second tongue into the 2nd
buckle until it clicks into position.
To release the anchor tongue from the
anchor buckle, insert the tongue from
one of the other belts into the release
button slot on the anchor buckle and
pull the anchor tongue free. Refer to the
illustration.
WARNING
The tongue must engage and lock
inside the buckle for the seatbelt to
function properly.
Ensure that the seatbelt buckle and
metal tongue are locked.
Non-retractor belts

To t the seatbelt, sit up straight and well
back in the seat. Bring the metal tongue
adjuster across your body and clip it into
the buckle. When the metal tongue has
locked safely into place you will hear
a click. Ensure the seatbelt ts rmly
across the lower hip area and not across
your waist.
To shorten the seatbelt, tilt the tongue
adjuster away from your body and pull the
seatbelt through the seatbelt adjuster.
To lengthen the seatbelt, tilt the tongue
adjuster away from your body and pull
the seatbelt from just below the nger
grip bar. To release the seatbelt, press the
release button on the buckle.
