KNOW YOUR VEHICLE
3-17
Inside rear view mirror
Push the lever on the lower edge of the
mirror forwards (away from you) and then
adjust the position of the mirror.
To reduce headlight glare from
following vehicles, pull the lever
backwards (towards you).
Note The rear view clarity is reduced when
the mirror is set to the anti-glare position.
Return the lever back to its original position
as soon as the glare has disappeared to
restore the rear view.
Outside rear view mirrors
Adjust the outside rear view mirrors so
you can see not only each side of the road
behind you, but also each side of your
vehicle. This helps you determine where
you are in relation to objects seen in
the mirror.
When selecting the most suitable angle,
ensure the driver’s head is in the normal
position for driving, then adjust the mirror
angle to suit.
Electric rear view mirrors
3
The adjustment switches for the electric
mirrors are located on the driver’s door
and are operational when the ignition
switch is turned to ON or ACC.
Note Moving the glass of the mirrors
forcibly by hand will damage the electric
mirror drive system.
Push the selector switch to the left to move
the left mirror, or to the right to move the
right mirror. Pushing the selector switch
to the middle will disengage movement.
Push the edges of the square surrounding
the selector switch to move the mirror up,
down, left or right. It is not advisable to
adjust the mirrors while driving.
