Manual tune
Manually tune to a radio station:
1. Press RADIO (O) to either select
the AM or FM band.
2. Rotate TUNE (J).
Alternatively, press
or to
tune to the next available radio
station.
Seek
Automatically seek for the next or
previous radio station.
During seek audio is muted.
1. Press RADIO (O) to either select
the AM or FM band.
2. Press or touch
or .
The radio seeks for the previous
or next strongest radio station in
the selected band.
Note
When TA is switched on, only TA
stations will be found. To seek all
stations, switch TA off. See FM
Traffi c Announcements (TA) on
page 128 .
Frequency scan
The radio will scan through the
frequencies, pausing for 10 seconds
when a station is found.
1. Press RADIO (O) to either select
the AM or FM band.
2. Touch More.
3. Touch Frequency scan.
To cancel the scan, touch any
button.
Stations may be stored to
Presets during the scan. See
Storing a radio station in the
favourite lists on page 131 .
The scan will need to be
restarted after storing a station.
Preset stations
• There are three favourite lists for
storing radio stations.
• The favourite lists are stored
across AM and FM stations.
• There are two autostore lists,
one for AM stations and one for
FM stations.
• There are fi ve presets in each list.
Storing radio stations in the
autostore list
The radio will scan the entire band,
select the stations with the best
reception quality and store them in
the AM or FM autostore list.
1. Press RADIO (O) to either select
the AM or FM band.
2. Touch More.
3. Touch Show autostore.
AM or FM autostore list will
be enabled.
4. Touch More.
5. Touch Autostore search.
Autostoring AM/FM stations is
displayed.
Autostore scans the
corresponding band and stores
the fi rst fi ve strongest stations.
When Autostore is completed the
fi rst stored station is selected.
6. To cancel Autostore, touch
Cancel.
