For A/S mode, move the shift lever
to position D then push to the left.
Briefl y pull or push the lever
rearward or forward and release.

Manual transmission
Manual transmissions have six
forward gears and a reverse gear.
The shift pattern is shown on top of
the shift lever.
To select R, move the shift lever
sideways against spring pressure to
engage reverse gear.

Starting off
Check before starting
• Check that windows, mirrors and
lamps are clean.
• Visually check tyre infl ation.
Check the tyre pressures
each week.
• Ensure that all doors are closed
and secured.
• Position your seat for
comfortable driving.
• Adjust rear view mirrors.
• Fasten seat belts.
• Check that the warning indicators
illuminate when turning the
ignition on.
