Navigation
The navigation system:
• Allows a route to be planned
• Provides map guidance
• Provides voice prompts during
driving
Warning
Information in the system may
not always be up-to-date.
Road conditions, such as detours
and road construction works,
change frequently.
Traffi c regulations have priority
over any instructions from the
navigation system. Always follow
the posted traffi c signs, speed
limits and road restrictions.
General information
Before using the navigation system,
read this section thoroughly.
• Become familiar with the system
controls and operation.
• Follow the warnings and cautions
to prevent the risk of injury to
yourself and others and avoid
damage to property.
• If an inoperable function is
selected, a message may be
displayed indicating that the
function is not available.
• Navigation guidance is displayed
on the infotainment screen and
may also be displayed on the
instrument panel. See Display
navigation on page 182 .
• The navigation maps are
stored on an SD-card within the
navigation system.
To check for updated map
availability, contact a Holden
Dealer.
• To scroll the map view, touch a
position on the map to centre
the view.
• Pressing NAV on the steering
wheel controls will display:
The navigation page when not in
guidance mode.
The map when in guidance mode.
• Additional route information may
be transmitted by voice guidance.
Danger
Giving extended attention to
navigation tasks while driving
will greatly increase the risk of a
collision that may cause personal
injury or death.
Road safety has absolute priority!
Only operate this system if the
road and traffi c conditions allow
you to do so.
The driver’s full attention is always
required while driving.
Use voice guidance directions
whenever possible.
