214 Driving and operating
Press the select button on the front
of the shift lever to move into any
position.
4 speed transmission
Gear display
When the shift lever position is
changed, an animation appears on
the display.
The selected gear is magnifi ed and
changes according to the shift lever
movement.
The animation appears on the
display for 2 seconds after the gear
is selected.
The lever position indicated on
the bottom of the display remains
on, indicating the currently
selected gear.
Note
If any warnings are active on the
display, the animation will not be
shown. Only the indication on the
bottom of the display changes when
the shift lever is moved.
Shift lever positions
The engine will not start unless
the shift lever is in position P or N.
P: In park position, the wheels are
locked. Apply the park brake
before leaving the vehicle.
