2. Move the shift lever to R
position (C).

3. Briefl y press M (D) on the
driver’s seat.
A double chime sounds if the
mirror DIP is activated (preset).
A single chime sounds if the
mirror DIP is deactivated (no
preset).
4. To change from activated to
deactivated mirror DIP or vice
versa, briefl y press M (D) again.
To adjust the mirror DIP:
1. Activate the mirror DIP as above.
The passenger side mirror will
move to the position currently set.
2. Adjust the mirror to the desired
view. See Power mirrors on
page 27 .
3. Move the shift lever out of R (C).
4. To store the setting, briefl y press
M (D).
Note
• To store the setting together with
your seat position settings, briefl y
press M (D) followed by the
desired memory button
(1, 2 or 3).
• The passenger side mirror will
move to the preset view, the next
time the shift lever is moved to
R (C).
• The vehicle’s memory also
remembers whether the mirror
DIP was activated or not.
• To recall all the stored settings,
press either the memory button
(1, 2 or 3) or push
c
on your
personal identity key. See
Memory settings for different
drivers on page 38 and Personal
identity keys on page 18 .
Heated mirrors
If the vehicle is equipped with heated
rear view mirrors, the heating is
switched on automatically when the
rear window demister is switched on.
