AUDIO
IMPORTANT INFORMATION (LEVEL 1)
NOTES ON RADIO OPERATION (ALL UNITS)
Do not apply any cleaning solution or solvents, or other forms of liquid, to the Audio
Head unit as this may cause damage to the display and/or electronics, and void the
warranty.
Do not insert anything other than CDs into the CD slot (no foreign objects) as this
could cause damage to the CD mechanism. If foreign objects are found in the radio
then warranty will be void.
Do not insert CDs that have labels attached. Labels can come off and damage the
CD mechanism.
Excessively scratched or dirty CDs may not play correctly.
Under direct sunlight the radio display may become difcult to read.
SECURITY CODE (ALL UNITS)
Your radio includes an electronically coded security system.
This electronically links the radio to your vehicle. Under normal circumstances you will
be unaware of its operation and shouldn’t need to take any action to enable the radio to
work, even if the vehicle’s battery has been disconnected and reconnected.
When the electronic link between the vehicle and the radio is interrupted, the
display ‘Security Lockout Active’ will be shown. In this case, please contact your
Holden Dealer.

Note For added security a small red light
on the radio blinks while the ignition is off.
INFORMATION DISPLAY (LEVEL 1)
All of the relevant information for radio and CD can be found on the vehicle’s Information
Display located on the dashboard.
The calendar can be temporarily displayed by pressing the TIME button
P
.
SETTING THE CLOCK & CALENDAR (LEVEL 1)
Note The clock and calendar can be adjusted when the radio is either on or off.
Adjust the clock and calendar as follows:
1.
Press and hold the TIME button
P
for more than 2 seconds. The display will show
the Set Clock screen. The hours are ashing.
2.
Adjust the hours by turning the Volume Control Dial
S
.
3. To adjust the minutes, rst press the Volume Control Dial
S
. The minutes are
ashing.
4.
Adjust the minutes by turning the Volume Control Dial
S
.
5. Repeat this procedure for the date, month and year.
6. To exit this mode, press the
TIME button
P
once more.
Note The radio will automatically exit this mode if no adjustments are made for 8
seconds.
