Getting Started
Check before starting
.
Check that windows, mirrors and
lamps are clean.

Visually check tyre inflation.
Check the tyre pressures
each week.

Ensure that doors are closed
and secured.

Position your seat for
comfortable driving.

Adjust rear view mirrors.

Fasten seatbelts.
.
Check that the warning
indicators light up when the
ignition is switched on.

Starting the engine
{
WARNING
Do not switch the engine off while
the vehicle is moving as there will
not be any power assist for
brakes or steering.
Never remove the key while the
vehicle is moving as this will lock
the steering.
LOCK: The key is inserted and
removed only from the LOCK
position.
ACCESSORIES: When the key is in
the ACCESSORIES posit ion, the
audio system and wipers operate.
ON:WhenthekeyisintheON
position, the engine is ready to start
and all electrical systems are active.
Do not leave the switch in the O N
position for a prolonged period
unless the engine is running,
otherwise the vehicle battery will
discharge.
