Suspected gas leak
Carry out the emergency procedure.
See “LPG emergency procedures”
under Fuel on page 9‑ 19.
Vehicle storage
If the vehicle is to be stored for a
long time, rotate the outlet service
valve (B) to the closed position. See
“LPG emergency procedures” under
Fuel on page 9‑19.
Filling the Tank
Fuel filler flap
To open the fuel filler flap:
1. Unlock the vehicle.
2. Push on the rear edge of the fuel
filler flap located on the right
side of the vehicle.
3. To close, push on the fuel filler
flap until it clicks into place.
Petrol
Always fill the fuel tank at the
intermediate or fast fill rate. Do not
add any more fuel after the fuel filler
first clicks off or fu el blows back.
This allows room for the fuel to
expand inside the tank.
Only trickle-fill fuel tanks when the
vehicle is to be driven for more than
50 km immediately after the tank is
filled. However, this is not
recommended on days over 30°C.
Wipe any overflowing fuel off the
vehicle immediately. Replace the
fuel cap and close the fuel opening,
then spray or splash with water.

Never fill a portable f uel container
in or on the vehicle. Static
electricity c an ignite the fuel
vapour. Always place the
container on the ground and keep
the fuel nozzle in contact w ith the
container at all times whil e fil ling,
as indicated on the warning plate
on the inside of the load area.
