Switch the interior dome light off
(if the switch is set to door
position).

Flash the exterior turn signals.

Deactivate the power windows
(after a preset time).
Press
Q asecondtimeto:

Arm the alarm immediately,
bypassing the 30 second delay
period.

The horn will chirp.
Press
K once t o:
.
Unlock either the driver ’s door
only or both doors.
.
(The vehicle may have a hard
tonneau cover.)
Unlock the hard tonneau cover.
.
Disarm the alarm.
.
Switch on the interior dome light
(if the switch is set to the

position) and power windows f or
a short time.
.
Flash the exterior turn signals.
.
Switch on the approach lighting
for a predetermined time. See
Entry Lighting on page 6‑6.
Press
K a second time to:
.
Unlock the passenger door (if
pressing the first time unlocked
the driver ’s door only).
.
Flash the exterior turn signals.
.
Reactivate the approach lighting.
Manual Door Locks
.
To lock, insert the key into the
driver ’s door lock and turn
towards the rear of the vehicle,
then turn back to the vertical
position and remove.
This will lock both doors and arm
the alarm system.

To unlock, insert the key into the
driver ’s door lock and turn it
once towards the front of the
vehicle to unlock the driver’s
door. Turn it twice towards the
front of the vehicle to unlock
both doors.
Note: This will not disarm the alarm
system.
If the vehicle is unlocked using the
key in the door lock while the alarm
is armed, opening a door wil l
activate the alarm. See Vehicle
Alarm System on page 2‑9.
