Only child restraints that have
clips to attach to the vehicle’s
anchorage fitting ( as shown in the
following illustrations) are to be
used. Earlier types of child
restraints may not attach securely
to this type of anchor.
Use only Standards Australia
approved child restraints and
harnesses. Only purchase a child
restraint which carries the
appropriate Standards Australia
sticker of approval.
Where l egally allowable, you may
install a forward-facing child
restraint in the passenger’sseat,
but always move the seat as far
back as it will go.

anchorage point for the fitment
of a child restraint.

The anchorage fitting is located
behind the passenger seat on
the cabin wall.

Lift up the head restraint to
thread the tether strap through.
Note: Adjust the head restraint to
the appropriate height once the
child restraint is removed. See Head
Restraints on page 3‑ 1.
