5-12 Instruments and Controls
Note: The Brake animation is also
displayed to show a low fluid level in
the br ake flui d reservoir.
If the
$ warning light illuminates
and the Brake animation is
displayed when driving, there is a
problem with the brakes.

Stop the vehicle as soon as it is
safe to do so.

Press TRIP or the ENTER
button to clear the animation.

The $ w arning light remains
illuminated until the problem is
repaired.

Check the brake fluid level. See
Engine Compartment Overview
on page 10‑5.

Do not proceed until satisfi ed
that braking is possible or t hat
the cause of the problem has
been repaired.

If necessary contact a Holden
Dealer.
Parking Brake Light
If the $ warning light illuminates,
the Parking Brake animation is
displayed and a chime sounds when
driving, the parking brake is still
applied. Release the parking brake.
Antilock Brake System
(ABS) Warning Light
The ! warning l ight illuminates for
a short time when the ignition is
turned on to show that the light is
working.
ABS fault animation
If the ! warning light illuminates
and the ABS Fault animation is
displayed, there is a problem with
the ABS system.
