TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Symptom Probable Causes Suggested Actions
The unit does not
power up
• Unit not connected to the
power outlet
• No power at the power
outlet
• Power Switch in the OFF
position
• Ensure that the power cord is
plugged in at the outlet as well as in
the rear of the unit.
• Check the circuit breaker for the
power outlet and ensure that the
power is available at the power
outlet.
• Turn ON the power switch in the
rear of the.
• Blown Fuse • Check the fuses and replace any
blown fuse with a fuse of the same
rating. Investigate the cause for
overload and correct the problem
before re-starting the system.
Display does not power
up
• Communication between
host and the Display
controller not working or
Display power is
interrupted
• Contact Hologic Technical Support
Up-down mechanism
does not initialize or
move
• Obstruction in the transport
mechanism, mechanism
does not move freely
