Wipe off the dipstick with a clean
cloth or paper towel.
Insert it all the way back in its tube.
Remove the dipstick again, and
check the level. It should be
between the upper and lower
marks.
Remove the dipstick carefully, so
you do not spill the oil. Spilled oil
could damage components in the
engine compartment.
