), then route the tether strap
through the legs of the head
restra int a nd over the seat-back,
making sure the strap is not twisted.
Push and pull the child restraint
system forward and from side-to-
side to verif y that it is secure.
The design and suitability of the
child restraint systems must be
carefully checked with the child
restraint syst em manufacturer
concerned and the seller of those
systems. If you are not sure, consult
your dealer before purchasing this
type of child restraint system.
Attach the attaching clip to the
anchor f itting, then tighten the strap
as instructed by the child restraint
system maker.
When not using the lower
anchorages system, all child
restraint systems must be secured t o
the vehicle with the lap part of a lap/
shoulder belt.
