While the vehicle is moving, the
i-VTEC switches the low RPM cams
to the high R PM cams and controls
valve timing, valve lift , and so on by
monitoring the engine load and rpm.
The i-VTEC indicator works as a
reminder when the low RPM cams
are changed to the high RPM cams.
To activate t his indicator to
automatically turn on when the i-
VTEC system switches to the high
RPM cams, you need to customize
the setting. The indicator’s def ault
setting is OFF. To customize the i-
