      alan23Aug 12, 2025
If your Honda Motorcycle engine won't start, several factors could be at play. Begin by verifying the engine starting procedure is correct. Ensure there's gasoline in the fuel tank and that the engine stop switch is in the appropriate position. Inspect for a loose battery connection or corrosion at the battery terminals, and assess the battery's condition. If the PGM-FI malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is illuminated, it is recommended to contact your dealer as soon as possible.

      Jeffrey RasmussenAug 16, 2025
If your Honda Motorcycle engine is overheating, and the high coolant temperature indicator comes on, check that the radiator fan is operating. If acceleration becomes sluggish, pull safely to the side of the road and stop the engine using the ignition switch. Allow the engine to cool with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Check the coolant level in the reserve tank and add coolant as needed. If a leak is detected or the fan is not operating, do not start the engine and transport your vehicle to your dealer. If the above checks are normal, you may continue riding but closely monitor the high coolant temperature.

If the engine oil level is rapidly decreasing, or the indicator remains on, stop the engine and contact your dealer.
