Servicing Your Honda
Remove the old sealing washer ( ) and
install a new sealing washer on the drain bolt.
Install the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
With the motorcycle held upright on level
ground, check the oil level.
If needed, add oil (page ) until it reaches
the upper level mark. (Do not overfill.)
Check for oil leaks.
Pour the recommended oil into the crankcase,
approximately:
Install the oil drain bolt and tighten to the
specified torque:
Start the engine and let it idle for 3-5
minutes. Stop the engine. Wait 2-3 minutes.
