Flooded Engine How to Stop the Engine
Starting & Stopping the Engine

High Air Temperature
Open the throttle fully.
Push the choke lever down all the way to
OFF.
Crank the engine several times with the
kickstarter.
Follow the starting
procedure (page ).
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine:
To stop the engine, shift into neutral, turn the
engine stop switch to OFF ( ).
Turn the engine stop switch to OFF ( ).
Turn the engine stop switch to RUN ( ).
