9. Turn the mower upside down and rest the handlebar on
a workbench. Protect the Smart Drive control and
handlebar with a protective cloth.
10. Remove the four 6 x 16 mm special bolts attaching the
transmission assembly to the rear housing, and then
remove the transmission assembly and drive belt
together.
11. If drive belt removal is required, hold the input shaft end
with an adjustable wrench, and then remove the 10 mm
flange nut.
Separate the two driven pulley halves to remove the
drive belt from the transmission.
Remove the 10 mm hardened special washer from the
input shaft.
