• IGNITION TIMING INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT
(1) Remove the flywheel cover.
(2) Revolve the flywheel in the counterclockwise direction and align the
"F " mark (5) on the flywheel to the index mark © on the case. At
this time, ideally, the contact breaker point should just start to open.
(3) If adjustment is necessary, loosen the contact breaker point screw
