4. Fault Isolation for RESCU 406AFN
A. Use the Fault Isolation charts that follow as a troubleshooting guide at the same time as the
Installed System Tests. If the results of one of those tests are unsatisfactory, use the Fault Isolation
Flowcharts (Figures 103 to 105) to isolate the system component that is the problem.
F LEDDRIVE Input With 28 V dc connected to pin N, one
of LIGHT or LEDDRIVE is necessary
to drive LED indicator. With
LEDDRIVE connected, LED will have
a blinking ON indicator.
Required if 28 V
dc not used
G RESET2 Output To transmitter unit, to send the
position of the 3-position functional
switch.

H EXTL WARNING Output Contact closure to ground, when
transmitter sends. Connected
internally to pin C.
