NOTE 6: When a field communication fails it is possible to maintain last valid scan data
in the CIU 888 database during a configurable amount of time. The
communication fail delay mechanism is reset on the reception of data. For
Example:
- modem delays bad cabling.
- no answer because of re-initializing gauge.

For Example:
Field Scan Enable This indicates enable/disable of Field scan on the eth-
ernet port. That is, based on the need the user shall
enable / disable filed scan on a particular ethernet port.
Note: Only one ethernet port (FTEA , FTEB or Office
LAN), filed scan can be enabled out of 3 ethernet ports.
Note: Either modbus server or field scan functionality
can be enabled for a ethernet port.
FieldScan IP IP address of wireless device manager (WDM)
Note: CIU 888 is connected to WDM via ethernet and
wireless gauges communicate to WDM via ISA 100.
FieldScan Port Port number of wireless device manager (WDM) .
Note: The default port number is 55598.
Turn around delay When CIU 888 receives a response from a field instru-
ment (in a field port) it waits for this time period before
sending a new request on the same field port.
Enter time in ms (default = 20 ms).
Time out Enter timeout in ms (default = 250 ms).
Retries Enter number of retries in the range of 1 through 10
(default = 3).
Communication fail delay Enter a time between 0 and 255 seconds (default = 60).
See Note 3.
Data fail delay Enter a time between 0 and 255 seconds (default = 60).

OPC UA server enable This setting would enable / disable the OP CUA Server
on the CIU 888's ethernet port (FTEA / FTEB / LAN).
0 - OPC UA server is disabled
1 - OPC UA server is enabled
Server URL This setting depicts the server URL. The OPC UA cli-
ents to CIU 888 using this URL. The URL shall be in the
below format.
opc.tcp://192.168.20.10:51000
Default value: Empty string
