Procedures
The EGPWS provides visual and/or audio alerts for detected:
• Potentially dangerous terrain conditions (modes 1 – 4,
TCF, TAD),
• Below glideslope conditions (mode 5),
• Descent below predefined altitudes or excessive bank angle
(mode 6),
• Severe windshear conditions (mode 7)
• Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS)
• Unstable approaches (MON)
• Altimeter mis-settings (MON)
• Incorrect takeoff flap settings (MON)
• Landing Long (MON)
• Low Airspeed (MON)
These consist of warning, caution, and advisory alerts based
on the detection alert threshold penetration. The following list
identifies the various alerts by type and mode:
