Configuring PTZ Settings
Before configuring PTZ, please ensure the following:
• The PTZ and decoder are connected correctly, and that the decoder address setup is
correct.
• That the correct decoder line is connected to the correct DVR line (A to A; B to B).
Click PTZ in the System configurations interface to open the PTZ configurations interface.

Setting Description
Channel Select a channel.
Control Mode Select from either Serial or HDCVI, whichever is appropriate
for your camera.
If you select HDCVI, then the control signal is sent to the PTZ
camera through the coaxial cable.
If you select Serial, then the control signal is sent to the PTZ
camera through the RS485 port.
Protocol Select either HD-CVI if you selected HDCVI for the Control
Mode. Or select None.
Address Enter a valid address for the PTZ camera.
Note The address you enter here must match with your PTZ
camera’s address. If those addresses do not match,
then you will not be able to control the PTZ camera. -
Baud Rate Select an appropriate baud rate.
The default setting is 9600.
