If it does, there is likely no mechanical issue. Disconnect the power and manually move the fan blade to check for any resistance. Reconnect the drive wire and speed feedback wire to eliminate connector loosening as a cause. Inspect the speed feedback plug-in terminal on the control panel for looseness, and gently pull the terminal for inspection if necessary. Replace the motor in the faulted air conditioner with another PG motor (without fixing it with the fan). If the main control panel still shows the error, replace the main internal control panel; if the error disappears, replace the internal fan.

If the external fan of a newly installed unit rotates in reverse, check if the color order of the three lead wires is correct, or change the order of any two of the three motor lead wires to see if the fan rotates in the correct direction.
