APPENDIX” .
Notes:
1) Unless otherwise noted, receiver input levels are specified in “hard” uV, which
includes a 6 dB attenuator between the signal generator and the receiver. As such, the
voltage at the receiver terminals is one half the "hard" microvolts read on the signal
generator.
2) Internally generated receiver spurious responses may degrade sensitivity below
those specified on a limited number of frequencies. A sensitivity of less than 6 dB
signal/noise for a 2 uV SSB input signal may be noted on some channels outside the
frequency limits of the aeronautical mobile band (25 MHz Limit) and maritime mobile
bands. Equivalent degradation may be noted in the AM mode. Contact Honeywell
Product Support (913-712-0600) regarding specific frequencies of interest.
3) The KHF 1050 system is FCC certified under Parts 87 and 90 for J2D, J3D, H2D
and H3 modes of data operation; and under Parts 80, 87, and 90 for J3E, H3E and
R3E modes of voice operation.
