3.1.1 PTE102 RS-232 Line Driver
The PTE102 module set containing the PTE102C and the PTE102K is a stand alone
communication module pair for extending the RS-232 range of either subracks or
keyboards in the Honeywell product line.
Designed to support MAX-1000 standard RJ12 connections to keyboards and subracks,
the PTE102 can be used with other RS-232 applications. The PTE102 provides a
convenient method for extending most RS-232 data communication.
The PTE102C unit is connected to the HMXAT200 Control Computer and can be
powered from either a 12V DC plug pack or from Port 3 or 4 of the HMXAT200. The
remote keyboard or subrack PTE102K is powered from an optional standard 12V DC
plug pack.
