4.13.2 Communication Protocol
DIP switch 7 on the 6860, 6855, and 5860 is used to determine the communication protocol of the device. Set DIP switch 7 to ON for SBUS
protocol. This switch must stay in the ON position for proper functionality.
4.13.3 End-of-Line Resistor
The end-of-line termination resistor must be enabled at S1 DIP switch 8 on the last 6860, 6855, and 5860 device on the communication cir-
cuit. All other annunciators should have these switches set to disable.
