The TEST mode function is used to select the following crew
initiated tests (Figure 6-21).

(a) TEST Function Key Selection - Selection of the TEST mode
causes the function key to be annunciated along with the TEST
menu to be displayed
on the DC CRT (Figure 6-21). The TEST
mode function is used to activate crew initiated subsystem
tests.
A TEST function key selection has no effect on any of
the display formats. TEST selections are made using the menu
driven line select keys.
(b) Crew Initiated System Tests - The individual line keys of this
menu select the self-test mode of the named subsystem. The
activated test is boxed as long as the line key is depressed.
Tests are initiated for the on-side displays only. EICAS
tests can be selected from either side DC.
(12) DISP Mode
The DISP menu, Figure 6-22, is displayed on the DC CRT in this
mode. This menu gives the following display choices.
