Problem and Message:
Telco Fault (Alpha)
Check 94 (Fixed)

least 3Vdc on the phone line.
MISCELLANEOUS
Problem:
Panel reverts to Stay mode after
arming Away
The Auto Stay feature is enabled by default in *84. If the system is armed Away and an
Entry/Exit zone is not faulted during the exit delay, the system knows that no one left
the premise, therefore, it will revert to the Stay mode. You can either fault the Entry/Exit
zone during the exit delay or *84 can be disabled so it will maintain the Away mode if
the zone is not faulted during the exit delay.
Problem and Message:
Lo Bat (Alpha)
Bat (Fixed)
When displayed without a zone number indicates the system battery is low or
disconnected. When displayed with a zone number indicates a wireless transmitter has
a low battery and needs to be changed.
Problem and Message:
Keypad Low Bat (Alpha)
00 Bat (Fixed)
Indicates a low battery exists on a wireless House ID keypad such as the 5828.
Problem:
Low Battery not clearing
Check the charging circuit with the battery disconnected to make sure the panel is
providing 13.5Vdc. Reconnect the battery and put the panel into Walk Test mode
(Installer/Master code 50). This test mode will put a load on the battery for 2 minutes.
Use a digital multi meter to check the battery voltage. At this point, you will be reading
battery voltage instead of the charging voltage. If you see the voltage drop below
11.5Vdc (low battery threshold voltage) during the 2 minutes, then, the battery is
unable to hold a charge under a load and needs to be replaced. The panel will
automatically put a load test on the battery evert 4 hours to test its ability to hold a
charge under a load. If the battery is good at the end of this automatic test, the low
battery message will clear automatically.
