Why Hoover Vacuum Cleaner won't pick up or has low suction?
- MMr. David WaltonJul 28, 2025
If your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt or has low suction, several factors could be the cause. First, check that the Recovery Tank is correctly installed in the base of the cleaner. Next, ensure the Recovery Tank isn't full; if it is, empty it. A clogged Recovery Tank can also cause this issue, so clean it thoroughly. Additionally, a clogged air path can restrict suction; remove the hose and flush it out with clean water. Lastly, check if the Recovery Tank debris filter is clogged; remove it, rinse thoroughly, and then replace it.
