  If your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt or has low suction, start by checking the placement of the Recovery Tank in the base of the cleaner. Also, empty the Recovery Tank if it's full, and clean it if it's clogged. Clear any clogs in the air path by removing the hose and flushing it out with clean water. Finally, remove the debris filter from the Recovery Tank, rinse it thoroughly, and replace it.

  If the hose nozzle of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner won't spray after filling the Clean Water Tank or Solution Tank Container, it might be due to trapped air in the pump and hose. To resolve this, turn on the cleaner. If the hose still doesn't spray, prime the pump by lowering the hose to the floor and holding the trigger for up to one minute.
