Lift hose connection
port cover and line
up hose connector.
Do not saturate your upholstery.
The clean water tank will need to be filled with Hoover carpet cleaning solution and water before use.
Slide wash tool over tab
at end of hose until it
clicks into place.
Push and twist hose
connector clockwise into
hose connection port.
Plug into mains, press
the on/off pedal to
switch on.
Squeeze trigger on the
forward stroke, release
trigger on backward stroke
to recover solution/water.
Push and twist water
supply tube connector
onto solution tube port.
Press trigger on hose to
release solution/water.
Using the wash tool
TIP: Use the carpet washer or hose to pick up spills before washing and cleaning the area.
NOTE: The carpet washer should be in the upright position when using the hose, deactivating the brush.
IMPORTANT: Empty and rinse out clean and dirty water tanks and leave to air dry before
replacing. Do not leave solution and water stored in the tanks between uses.
CAUTION: Always unplug the carpet washer and remove all tanks before performing
any
maintenance/troubleshooting checks.
TIP: The dirty water tank should be flush with the base. If it’s not, this will result in poor water pickup.
Unclip and release the
dirty water tank handle.
Tilt main body of carpet
washer backwards.
Hook nozzle of dirty
water tank under base
of machine.
Empty dirty water over
the sink. Rinse dirty
water tank under water
to remove dirt/debris.
Lift to remove the dirty
water tank.
Lower dirty water tank
onto base of carpet
washer and push
into place.
Turn the dirty water
tank cap anti-clockwise
to remove.
Make sure the hose
connection port cover
is closed. Suction will
be lost if the cover
remains open.
